"Tribute to Klimt" - Murano Glass Artwork by Giorgio and Lara Grosselle
This piece has been made by Giorgio Grosselle, craftsman part of the crew of Wave Murano Glass, based on design of his daughter Lara. His creative genius comes to life through the use of glass waste, processing scraps, glass leftovers and excesses from the coldshop. Everything is reworked according to his inspiration, in order to give life to unique pieces. All artworks made by him are not only one of a kind because of their artistic value, but also for the meaning they have on an environmental level: he wants to give new life and preciousness to something which should be thrown away otherwise.
The various pieces are vitrified with an electric fusing furnace, inside a refractory stone frame, to allow all segments to connect each other, becoming a single mass. Pieces are then glued on the handpainted canvas, and framed on a wooden structure
One of a kind and NOT repeatable artwork
