Marte Vase: A Planetary-Inspired Murano Glass Design
Marte takes its inspiration from the colours and visual character of Mars.
Named after the planet, this collection of handcrafted Murano glass vases explores the transition between clear and red glass through a softly fading, sandblasted finish.
The result is a contemporary decorative object that captures something of the planet's warm, atmospheric appearance without relying on literal or elaborate ornament.
A Gradient Inspired by Mars
The defining feature of Marte is its Clear/Red colour combination.
Rather than separating the two tones with a sharp boundary, the glass presents a gradual transition that gives the surface depth and visual movement.
The sandblasted matte finish softens reflections, allowing the colour gradient to become the central decorative element.
This combination creates a different effect from highly polished Murano glass. Instead of sharp highlights, the surface appears more diffused, emphasizing the relationship between colour and form.

Marte is available in three diameters: 12, 16 and 28 cm.
The smaller versions can provide compact decorative accents on shelves, side tables and consoles, while the largest size creates a stronger presence on dining tables, sideboards and other display surfaces.
