Tube Murano Glass Vase: Hand-Carved Texture in Matte Amethyst Glass
A beautiful vase doesn't need elaborate proportions to make an impression.
The Tube Murano Glass Vase explores the elegance of a slender silhouette, combining a tall cylindrical form with intricate hand-carved texture and a delicate matte finish.
Created by Roberto Beltrami and his team, Tube is a contemporary decorative piece that places material and craftsmanship at the centre of the design.
The Art of Hand-Carved Glass
Much of Tube's distinctive character is created after the glass leaves the furnace.
Once the basic form has been shaped and cooled, the vase moves to the coldshop.
Here, skilled artisans use a diamond wheel to carve decorative texture into its surface.
This careful process introduces depth and detail, transforming the simple form into a more expressive object.
The carved decoration creates subtle variations in the way the glass interacts with light.
Matte Amethyst and Delicate Transparency
Tube is presented in a matte amethyst finish.
The sandblasted surface creates a soft, satin-like appearance, giving the vase a more understated character than highly polished glass.
The relationship between the etched details and the surrounding matte surface is central to its beauty.
Rather than relying on strong reflections, Tube invites attention to its texture, proportions and subtle transparency.
The amethyst colour introduces a distinctive decorative accent that works beautifully with neutral furniture, pale stone and natural materials.
A Tall, Elegant Decorative Statement
Measuring approximately 60 cm high and 10 cm in diameter, Tube has a slender vertical silhouette.
Its proportions make it particularly appealing for consoles, sideboards and carefully arranged interior spaces.
The vase can create an elegant contrast against low furniture or complement other decorative objects of different heights.
Its sculptural presence also allows it to be displayed without flowers, emphasizing the craftsmanship of its carved surface.
A Contemporary Expression of Murano Craftsmanship
Tube combines the individuality of handmade glass with the precision of traditional cold-working techniques.
Every piece carries the character of the artisans involved in its creation.
Choose Tube to introduce a refined vertical accent into your interior, where the beauty of carved Murano glass becomes the decoration itself.
