Rugiada Murano Glass Vase: Organic Elegance in a Sculptural Silhouette
Sometimes the most striking designs are also the simplest.
The Rugiada Murano Glass Vase explores the beauty of proportion through an elongated neck, gently curved body and soft matte surface.
Handcrafted by Roberto Beltrami and his team in our Murano furnace, Rugiada brings a contemporary interpretation of organic form into the home.
Its distinctive silhouette creates a sense of movement without relying on elaborate decoration.
A Shape Inspired by Natural Movement
The defining feature of Rugiada is the relationship between its stretched neck and the natural curvature of its body.
The elongated proportions introduce an elegant vertical presence, while the curved form softens the overall composition.
This balance creates a sculpture-like appearance that feels both expressive and restrained.
Rather than depending on decorative patterns or contrasting materials, Rugiada allows the shape of the glass to become the central feature.
Its simplicity makes it particularly appealing in interiors where a single carefully chosen object can have a strong visual impact.
The Soft Beauty of Sandblasted Glass
Rugiada features a sandblasted finish that gives the surface a delicate matte appearance.
Unlike highly polished glass, the matte treatment reduces strong reflections and emphasizes the sculptural silhouette.
It creates a softer relationship with surrounding light, drawing attention to the vase's curves and proportions.
This finish also makes Rugiada particularly well suited to interiors featuring natural stone, wood, textured fabrics and contemporary furniture.
Matte Grey or Yellow
The collection is available in two colours.
Matte Grey offers a restrained, architectural character that works beautifully in neutral and minimalist interiors.
Matte Yellow introduces a warmer, more expressive accent, bringing a subtle sense of energy to the same elegant silhouette.
Both versions retain the distinctive sandblasted texture that defines the collection.
A Statement in Height and Proportion
Rugiada is available in two approximate height ranges: 60–70 cm and 70–80 cm.
These generous proportions give the vase a strong decorative presence.
Display it as a standalone object on a substantial console or sideboard, or incorporate it into a carefully arranged corner where its vertical silhouette can be fully appreciated.
Its sculptural character means that Rugiada can become an elegant focal point even without flowers.
A Personal Expression of Murano Glass
Custom sizes and colours are available upon request, allowing Rugiada to be adapted to specific interior design concepts.
Each vase is individually handcrafted in Murano, giving the finished piece the character of artisanal production.
Let Simplicity Make the Statement
Rugiada is an elegant reminder that contemporary design doesn't always require complexity.
Its flowing silhouette, generous proportions and soft matte finish create a distinctive balance of movement and restraint.
Choose Rugiada to bring a refined sculptural presence into your home, where the beauty of Murano glass can speak through shape alone.
